Principles of Seed Testing DVDs
This set of four DVDs, developed by the
Ohio State University and Dr. Miller McDonald, is a comprehensive review of the most common
techniques used by seed analysts to assess seed quality. Text, figures,
animations, and videos are used to effectively explain each testing
procedure, which makes this collection valuable and unique materials for
training and education of seed analysts as well as others interested in
the techniques of seed testing.
Seed Production DVDs
These DVDs, developed by the Ohio State University and
Dr. Miller McDonald, provide a Consortium for International Seed Technology Training The DVDs were developed in cooperation with the
Consortium for International Seed Technology Training (CISTT). The
establishment of a five-member Consortium is a novel approach to global
training in seed technology. Five of the world's leading academic
institutions (The Ohio State University, University of California Davis,
Lincoln University, Escola Superior Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" and
Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile) with recognized qualification in
seed technology training muster together a greater variety of faculty
expertise, provide greater breadth of academic training, cover a greater
diversity of agricultural crops, utilize differences in technological
capability of countries around the world and result in an
internationalization of a curriculum consistent with the technological
advances occurring in a global seed industry.
